Greetings Mu-Gamma Chapter-at-Large Members!

I am pleased to write this president’s message after Sigma’s biennial convention November 2023. Jason Blomquist and I represented the chapter as delegates and we have come back with new connections and ideas for our chapter.

In the spring we are co-hosting the Treasure Valley Nursing Research Conference on May 15, 2024 9:00am-3:30 pm at the McCleary Center at St. Alphonsus, Boise. We have joined with clinical partners here in the Treasure Valley to bring together nursing research and practice projects. I hope you all will be able to attend, free for Mu Gamma members, and see what our nursing colleagues are presenting.

We will have a virtual orientation to the Sigma website on January 3rd at 7:00 pm. If you have not made use of all of the great member benefits Sigma has to offer, this orientation is perfect for you. The link will be posted on the Mu Gamma site late December 2023.

If you are interested in being more active in our Mu Gamma chapter, please join our Monthly virtual meetings the first Tuesday of the month on zoom (link is posted on event site on the chapter page). We will list positions open for election this April, with elections at our annual business meeting in June (time and place TBD).

We have other activities in the works and hope you will join in or suggest other events.
